Waynetown, April 10 - George M. Livengood, 86, retired farmer, died Saturday morning at his home in Waynetown. He had been ill several months. Born Oct 29, 1861, near Waynetown, Mr. Livengood was the son of John and Amanda Washburn Livengood, pioneer residents of this community. He was married June 23, 1881 to Viola M. Maxwell of Waynetown, who died sevearl years ago. He was a member of the Masonic and Odd Fellows lodges. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Gus Steele and Mrs. Nellie Gilkey, both of Crawfordsville; two brothers, Eldridge and Charles Livengood, both residents of Illinois; 8 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 o'clock Monday morning at the Grenard and Servies Funeral Home. Burial will be at the Waynetown Masonic Cemetery. Friends may pay their respects at the funeral home.
